در دوازدهمین بی‌ینال بین‌المللی معماری ونیز، ایران نیز برای اولین بار با نمایشگاه «باغ‌های ایرانی» شرکت دارد و در طول برپایی این نمایشگاه، موضوع باغ ایرانی در قالب نشست‌های تخصصی مورد نقد و بررسی قرار می‌گیرد.
روابط عمومی معاونت هنری وزارت فرهنگ و ارشاد اسلامی گزارش داد: این نمایشگاه که با موضوع «طراحی باغ‌های ایرانی و فضای محتوایی و ماورایی» برگزار شده است،‌مورد استقبال هنرمندان و دوستداران خارجی هنر «معماری ایرانی» و شاخص‌ها و مضامین دیداری و ماورایی آن قرار گرفته است.
این نمایشگاه که از 4 شهریور ماه و در شهر ونیز کشور ایتالیا برگزار شده است در روزهای گذشته پذیرای هنرمندان بزرگی چون «پروفسور زیبولی» هنرمند سرشناس ایتالیایی، جمعی از نمایندگان پیشین مجلس ایتالیا، بسیاری از تجار و بازرگانان ایتالیایی، دانشجویان و هنرمندان جوان خارجی بود.
در این نمایشگاه حضور چشمگیر دانشجویان و مخاطبان رشته های مختلف هنری و برگزاری نشست های متعددی با موضوعات «تاثیرپذیری معماری باغ‌های ایتالیایی و ایرانی از یکدیگر» برگزار شده است.
بررسی نظام هندسی باغ ایرانی، نظام آبیاری، نظام معماری، نظام منظری، اضلاع حصاری، عصاره و تبلور اندیشه ایرانی در مواجهه با فضای زیست خود، توجه به زیرساخت هندسی در ترکیب بندی باغ های ایرانی، توجه به پشتوانه های تاریخی و اعتقادی در ساخت باغ‌های ایرانی، توجه به سایه‌گستری درختان در باغ ایرانی و... از جمله مضامین پیدا و پنهان معماری باغ های ایرانی است که در دوازدهمین نمایشگاه بین المللی معماری ونیز مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است.
بنابراین گزارش، این نخستین حضور بین المللی ایران با موضوع معماری و باغ‌های ایرانی در یک رویداد جهانی است. دوازدهمین دو سالانه جهانی معماری ونیز از 4 شهریور تا 29 آبانماه در کشور ایتالیا برپاست.

حضور موفق ایران در دوسالانه بین‌المللی معماری ونیز

روابط عمومی معاونت هنری گزارش داد: استقبال گرم هنردوستان خارجی، پ‍ژوهشگران و هنرمندان دردوازدهمین نمایشگاه بین المللی معماری ونیز با موضوع "هنر باغ ایرانی" روزهای اوج خود را سپری می‌کند.
براساس این گزارش:«این نمایشگاه که با موضوع «طراحی باغ‌های ایرانی و فضای محتوایی و ماورایی» برگزار شده است به شدت مورد استقبال هنرمندان و دوستداران خارجی هنر "معماری ایرانی" و شاخص‌ها و مضامین دیداری و ماورایی آن قرار گرفته است.
